Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

 MPNP is a system to fulfill the labor demand in the province of Manitoba. It has its own requirement different from that of the Express Entry Program. The applicant must register the Expression of Interest (EOI) with MPNP in order to get invited through the Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams.

In this system, profiles are ranked out of 1000 points for core human factors like Age, Education, Work Experience, IELTS/French, Manitoba Connections, and other factors.

In the present draw, the minimum scores required were as follows;

*     Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 485 Points

*     Skilled Workers Overseas: 672 Points

MPNP Streams

In order to be considered under Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, one of the basic requirements is that the applicant must be working in Manitoba and have a full-time job offer from the employer in Manitoba.

Skilled Workers Overseas are needed to demonstrate their connection to Manitoba through, close family ties or friends in Manitoba, previous experience in the province, or an invitation under MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Lastly, candidates who graduated in Manitoba with in-demand skills are invited under the International Education Stream.
