Express Entry Program
Express Entry Program is the main immigration pathway to get permanent residency in Canada. This federal program allows the eligible applicants under Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experienced Class to create the online profiles expressing their interest to work, stay and settle in Canada.
The pool of applications is managed by the online system where the profiles are ranked based on their respective core human factors, like age, education, language proficiency, adaptability factors, experience, and other factors.
This is the second draw in just 2 days that leads to total 3,898 invites. On 22 July, 557 ITAs were issued to PNP candidates. This draw is 14 points higher than the cut-off score in the last CEC Express Entry draw, which was 431.
To date, as of July 24, a total of 57,700 principal applicants have been invited to apply for permanent residence in 2020.
Keeping in mind Canada's target for the year 2020 & 2021, more frequent and larger draws are expected in the coming months.
